Halloween Masquerade
“I think it fits you.” Cagalli took a step backward to look at her creation, with a big smile on her lips.
“You’re doing this only to punish me for something, aren’t you?” he asked in a patient, but slightly embarrassed tone.
“Well, yes and no,” she admitted. “But mostly it’s just because I found Lacus’ idea very... interesting.” She straightened the piece of grey fur lying over his shoulders. “And if it makes you feel better Lacus is going to have Kira dress up in the same fashion, so you won’t be alone.”
“Yes, but... cat ears?”
“They look good on you, you know. You’re a most good-looking little catboy.” She could no longer refrain from giggling.
“Then, shouldn’t you two have matching outfits?” He tried a counterattack. “You know they have those very nice female versions too.”
“Hm,” she said “maybe you should look better without that black shirt after all. I’m sure we can find a way to get the fur patches to stay on your shoulders even without any cloth beneath it. Since you apparently find bare skin so interesting. Oh, I’m sorry. You were saying?”
“Nothing.”
“Good for you.” She grinned at him. Obviously she was taking great delight in his current situation. Sometimes that girl was a wicked one. “And no,” she continued like she had been reading his mind, “you’re not getting out of this. You promised to let me choose the costume, remember?”
“Yeah, but somehow I had expected something... well, more conservative.”
“Poor little kitten!” she said in a mocking tone. “That only shows how little you know about the women around you.” She smiled brightly again, before she leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on his cheek. “But if it can be any consolation, I happen to find nice kittens very attractive.” The suggestive look she gave him was more than enough for Athrun to suddenly feel the idea wasn’t all that bad after all.
